About Us
We have been established since 2000 and are probably the leading internet horse sales site. We have an excellent success rate with a large proportion of our customers coming via recommendations from satisfied customers, or repeat business from studs.
We are supported by both the RSPCA who regularly advertise their rescued horses and ponies for rehoming.
We hope you find the horse or pony that you are looking for. New horses and ponies are added to the site on a regular basis, so make a note to visit us again soon.
If we haven't got what you are looking for why not e-mail us with your requirements and we will add you to our database and contact you when something suitable is added to the site. We already have a lot of people on our database looking for horses and ponies.
If you have any comments to make on our site or would like to be added to the database please email us here. Please note that Horse and Pony Sales operate a strict policy of NOT passing your e-mail details to anyone else.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
Delivery Charges
UK Customers
For UK orders the Delivery Charge is as follows:
Orders under £25.00 - £2.50
Orders £25.00 - £100.00 - £3.00
Orders over £100.00 - £3.50
and will be calculated automatically by the shopping cart upon checkout.
(Please note: Advertising is not subject to carriage.)
Overseas Customers
Overseas customers must contact us prior to placing an order so that the delivery charges and payment terms can be agreed.
Overseas customers please note that you are liable for any import duty levied by your own country.
All transactions are processed in Sterling
If you wish to purchase supplements for shipment overseas please contact us prior to purchasing as some countries have restrictions on what you are allowed to import.
We reserve the right to charge an admin fee to cover the cost of our credit card fees should you choose to cancel your order

Delivery Schedule
We aim to ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt. You will be sent an email advising when your order has been despatched
The majority of items on the website are in stock, if for any reason we are temporarily out of stock of an item we will advise you immediately and where possible advise of an expected delivery date

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
Horse and Pony Sales are not currently vat registered so VAT will NOT be added to your order
|

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy
Horse and Pony Sales do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
We also email a newsletter approximately quarterly if you do not wish to receive the newsletter please do not hesitate to contact us and your email address will be removed immediately from the mailing list.
Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Returns Policy
If you return the goods to us (at customers expense) in their original packaging, undamaged and unused within 14 days of receiving them we will refund the cost of the goods
It is essential that you obtain proof of posting as Horse and Pony Sales cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returns.
Orders will only be despatched if payment has been received in full.
Should your order be damaged on arrival please return them to us and include a receipt for the cost of the postage. We will endeavor to get a replacement out to you as soon as possible.
